FIRE SERVICE RETROFIT - THE "RED BOX"

Model 712
The industry standard for Phase 1 and Phase 2 service

Our famous Fire Service Retrofit modernizes your elevator system to meet new fire service code requirements. Our PC boards are manufactured in various configurations so that we can easily localize your retrofit to comply with any state and city fire code.

A successful retrofit is always a team effort at Electrodyn. Our experienced personnel will utilize information about your particular system to develop a solid solution and economical option before a quotation is prepared.

Next, our designers modify your existing drawings to reflect the revised fire service logic. A regenerated print is returned together with a terminal-by-terminal checklist for ease of installation. Our technical support and application team is always available to ensure that your installation meets or exceeds requirements, and our outstanding engineering support is just a free phone call away.

Interface

Installation is accomplished in three stages: first, the master section is connected to a common voltage source; second, the logic section is connected to each controller; third, a series of 1 to 10 individual relays is paralleled to controller relays providing feedback. The isolation of master and logic sections allow different relay voltages to be used. The individual relays that provide feedback are not only isolated from the first two sections, but from each other as well, providing flexibility in their use.

The Fire Service Retrofit offers a broad range of dry contact configurations to produce the required functionality, regardless of controller logic.

An experienced installer will achieve motor room wiring times of between 16 to 24 hours on average.
